”Salaisempi projekti kuin Pohjois-Korea” – Tuska saa oman nimikkobiisin

Kaksikymmentä vuotta täyttävä Tuska Open Air Metal Festival saa oman nimikkokappaleensa.

Tekijöinä ovat suomalaisen metallin huippunimet: Esa Holopainen (Amorphis, teoksen säveltäjä), Nino Laurenne (Thunderstone, Sonic Pump Studio), Jaska Raatikainen, Alexi Laiho, Daniel Freyberg (Children of Bodom), Gas Lipstick (EX- HIM / Hallatar), Tomi Joutsen (Amorphis), Kai Hahto (Wintersun, Nightwish), Marko Annala & Tuomo Saikkonen (Mokoma), Lordi, Timo Kotipelto (Stratovarius), Pasi Rantanen (Thunderstone), Antti Hyyrynen (Stam1na), Samy Elbanna (Lost Society), Ville Sorvali (Moonsorrow), Netta Skog (Ensiferum), Mikko Karmila (Finnvox Studiot), Mika Jussila (Finnvox Studiot). Erikoisvieraana mainittakoon tässä vaiheessa Tuskan ystävänäkin tunnettu Akira Takasaki (Loudness, Japani).

Lisää biisissä esiintyviä artisteja ja tekijöitä paljastetaan tuonnempana. Biisillä on kuulemma mittaa yli seitsemän minuutin verran.

Teoksesta kertyvät tulot kerätään Elmu säätiön sateenvarjon alle perustettuun Tuska 20v -juhlarahastoon ja lahjoitetaan hyväntekeväisyyteen.

"Tuska20 – The Anniversary Song" – Charity Campaign starts on Monday April 10th Twentieth birthday celebrating Tuska Open Air Metal Festival gets its own, very special signature song. "Tuska20 – The Anniversary Song" is an exquisite seven minute epic, written and performed by the top names in Finnish metal. The list of metal talent taking part in the project is impressive: Esa Holopainen (Amorphis), Nino Laurenne (Thunderstone, Sonic Pump Studio), Jaska Raatikainen, Alexi Laiho, Daniel Freyberg (Children of Bodom), Gas Lipstick (EX- HIM / Hallatar), Tomi Joutsen (Amorphis), Kai Hahto (Wintersun, Nightwish), Marko Annala & Tuomo Saikkonen (Mokoma), Lordi, Timo Kotipelto (Stratovarius), Pasi Rantanen (Thunderstone), Antti Hyyrynen (Stam1na), Samy Elbanna (Lost Society), Ville Sorvali (Moonsorrow), Netta Skog (Ensiferum), Mikko Karmila (Finnvox Studios), Mika Jussila (Finnvox Studios). A special international guest involved is well-known Tuska-aficionado Akira Takasaki (Loudness, Japan). More Artists taking part in the project will be announced later. The father of the idea, Tuska Promoter Jouni Markkanen has been giving clues of the process for several months through his Social Media updates, which can be found with the hashtag #tuskasong. ”All proceeds from this project will be collected to ”Tuska 20 years” -fund that operates under the umbrella of Elmu Säätlö, and will be donated to charity. The object of charity will be determined by an advisory board, which consists of musicians, industry notables and Tuska-related persons throughout the history of the festival”, Markkanen clarifies. Tuska 20 – The anniversary song has also been a great experience for the musicians involved – and an exciting one, like Children Of Bodom drummer Jaska Raatikainen elaborates: ”This project is more secret than North Korea. Even the musicians don’t know what’s going to happen…” The campaign is executed in cooperation with FundYou crowdfunding platform and it will start on Monday April 10th at fundyou.io.
