Emilyn tuore, suorastaan raivoisan vimmainen somepostaus jatkaa positiivisen kehonkuvan sanoman parissa.

Emily pudottelee sanoja vauhdilla, jossa naisella olisi selvästi tulevaisuutta räppärinä.

Lyhyesti tiivistettynä: ihmedieetit, et tarvitse niitä. Niillä tehdään vain rahaa. Olet täydellinen juuri sellaisena, kuin olet.

This is for anyone who has ever been enticed into trying a new weight-loss method by something that they’ve seen on social media. I fell for ALL.THIS.SHITE when I was younger, and that was before social media was even a tenth of the beast that it is today. I don’t want to sound really old and fucking boring but this is one of the most worrying trends to come out of platforms like TikTok – the constant stream of weight-loss based content that is clearly targeting the insecure with the intention of profiting from their vulnerability and making them feel that they aren’t good enough. I was sent a video like this today by a follower and my head just full on went into melt down – hence THIS. The fastest I’ve ever talked 😂🤪 Seriously, though. It’s all true. Most this fucking shite is just a money making gimmick but it’s having fucking devastating and lasting consequences and it’s making me SO ANGRY. It took me years to be able to finally scroll past one of these without curiously clicking through to see if JUST THIS TIME they might have something for me that might work. I’ve got diet culture’s claws outta me now and with hindsight I see these for what they are: poison. So if you have ever found yourself thinking less of your body after scrolling social media I want you to know that the problem is NOT YOU. The problem is this fucking shitstain of a trend. Which we will end. But until then, hold tight. And know that you are enough as you are, RIGHT NOW xxxx
