Soulveteraani Lionel Richie joutui perumaan kaksi keikkaansa yhden pusun vuoksi!
The Sunin haastattelussa selviää Richien antaneen suukon brittiläiselle tv-juontaja Alex Jonesille. Ikävä kyllä, Jones oli juuri kärsinyt noroviruksesta eli sinnikkäästä vatsataudista.
Seurauksena oli paha oksennus-ja ripulitauti, jonka vuoksi laulaja joutui perumaan pari keikkaansa.
Jones kertoo olleensa vain päivän poissa työpaikalta, eli taudin tarttuminen ei ollut suuri ihme. Tosin Richie oli omatoimisesti antanut suukon suoraan suulle!
”After Lionel and I had just finished our chat on the show, I went to give him a kiss on the cheek and he went in for the lips… He caught the norovirus off me and had to cancel two of his tour dates… I did feel a bit guilty but, essentially, don’t be so forward Lionel! If he’d gone for the cheek, he would have been fine”.
