Norjalainen black metal -legenda Mayhem nähdään ainakin tulevalla Sweden Rockin keikalla lavalla entisen laulajansa Sven Erik ”Maniac” Kristensenin kanssa.
Ilkeän maineen hankkinut ”Maniac” tuli bändiin ensimmäisen kerran vuonna 1986. Miehellä oli tapana viillellä itseään lavalla.
Vuonna 2004 Maniac savustettiin ulos bändistä. Sekoilu meni liian pitkälle ja alkoholi oli turhan vahvasti mukana.
Bändi kutsuu tulevaa Sweden Rockin keikkaa lauseella ’Return Of The Maniac’.
”We had some talk over the years about doing a show again with the old Maniac. Of course things seldom go as planned in this line of work. The original idea was to do a few songs with him. That idea has now evolved into a full show with him entitled ”Return of the Maniac” consisting only of songs from the period he did vocal duties in Mayhem”
