Mansonin ensimmäinen kosketus Bowieen oli MTV:ssä pyörinyt Ashes to Ashes, ’olin hämmentynyt ja lumoutunut’.
Vuonna 1997 Manson kuunteli Bowien Diamond Dogs -albumia, ’levy muutti elämäni’.
