Yhdysvaltalaisen rap-trio Poor Righteous Teachersin jäsen Father Shaheed sai surmansa moottoripyöräonnettomuudessa maanantaina.
Tieto muusikko-tuottajan kuolemasta tuli julki toisen hiphopin konkarin, Public Enemyn Facebook-sivuilla:
”The Pe family sends condolences out to the family and friends of Dj Father Shaheed from Poor Righteous Teachers, who was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident.”
Vuonna 1989 perustettu Poor Righteous Teachers on julkaissut neljä albumia. Yhtyeen suurin hitti Rock Dis Funky Joint sisältyi seuraavana vuonna julkaistulle debyyttialbumille Holy Intellect.
